Despite the general use of largely maintenance-free parts and components, any conveyor system requires a minimal amount of maintenance. This makes it possible to effectively prevent unscheduled system downtime. The necessary maintenance cycles are determined among other things by the useful life of the system, the respective operating conditions, and preventative measures carried out by the customer.
The TRANSNORM customer services carries out the typical service activities maintenance and service on TRANSNORM conveyors, but also on many other third-party brands of equipment. Each conveyor is checked for proper function; necessary repairs are carried out and afterward a comprehensive service report is compiled.
Customer services is available to all customers, worldwide. In Germany, there are four regionally stationed service technicians in addition to the headquarters in Harsum near Hildesheim. If necessary, they are supported by our construction site fitters and headquarters-based fitters.
All of our technicians speak at least one foreign language so that they are able to serve our international customers in their respective national languages as often as possible. Besides our employees at our headquarters and our branches in foreign countries, TRANSNORM also has partners in Denmark, Austria, Spain, and Switzerland, so that the closest technician can be onsite very quickly.
Regardless of who is dispatched to the customers location: All service technicians have been active in customer services for years, are familiar with the technology in detail, and are capable of solving even the most difficult problems. The basis for this is an extensive program of training and continuing education especially for our service technicians, so that they are always familiar with the state of the art and can help quickly.
