
Even though TRANSNORM conveyors are designed for a long service life: Sooner or later, a part reaches its wear limits or parts are destroyed by a crash on the conveyor system. At times like these, spare parts kept onsite help to minimize downtime for the affected conveyor.
On the basis of many years of experience gained in numerous successful projects, TRANSNORM draws up a spare parts recommendation. It contains all of the necessary spare parts that may be needed in an emergency and which, from TRANSNORM's point of view, must be available onsite at the customers. Of course, if there are already spare parts onsite, e.g., from previous projects, these are also taken into account.
If more stringent demands on the conveyor technology must be met, e.g., four-shift operation or very rough plant operations, resulting in frequently changing requirements with regard to the necessary range of spare parts. In this case, TRANSNORM service technicians or headquarters employees advise customers individually, generally at the customers location. This ensures that the necessary spare parts will also be available when they are needed, and simultaneously it avoids procurements of spare parts that are scarcely needed.
